Family bonding is important within the first few minutes of life…

but not every parent gets to experience that. When a child is born prematurely, many of those special moments you pictured, may not happen the way you planned as your child may have been whisked away to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (or NICU for short). Research suggests positive effects on infant brain development, parent psychological well-being, and on the parent–infant relationship begins by creating a family-centered environment in the NICU. Our NICU Care Packages can help influence the neonatal unit environment and culture by promoting physical and emotional closeness between the family unit.

About: Mark’s Mission NICU Care Packages combine NICU essentials to promote bonding, healing, and connection between families. Each item is hand-picked and delicately placed in one of our beautiful blue boxes to remind you that the smallest things truly do make the greatest impact.

Application Requirements: Any resident (or family/friend of a resident) of St. Johns, Duval, or Clay Counties with a child in the NICU is eligible to apply. NICU Care Packages are FREE to Northeast Florida families. A $35 charge will occur for out-of-state or service area shipping. Please complete this form in its entirety.
